The highly successful Toyota Camry mid-sized sedan will no doubt continue its successful run on top of the auto market thanks to its latest model year – the 2012 Toyota Camry. Critics and fans alike are calling the 2012 Toyota Camry the best version of the Camry to date. And that is saying something, considering the Toyota Camry has been the top selling car in America for the last thirteen out of fourteen years. However, thanks to new Toyota inventions, like Entune, improved fuel efficiency and more, the 2012 Toyota Camry, from our local Toyota Arlington Heights dealer, Schaumburg Toyota, is no doubt better than ever.

Thus, in keeping with the impressive nature of this new vehicle, Toyota marketing executives have coined an equally engaging catch phrase in order to market the 2012 Toyota Camry. Advertisements of all forms have been launched across the country, including in our local Toyota Arlington Heights dealerships’ precinct, begging the question “It’s ready. Are you?”

One leading marketing executive for Toyota, Bill Fay, said of the phrase, “When building the best-selling car in America–a car with nearly seven million vehicles on the road today–you learn about what people want and expect from their cars. We recognized the need to give Americans a smart, safe and worry-free vehicle they can rely on, and our marketing campaign communicates this message.”

An alternative effort exists to spread the word about the newest Toyota to arrive in Schaumburg. Camry lovers and those interested in the vehicle will have the experience to check out the 2012 Toyota Camry from an up-close and personal perspective – behind the driving wheel. The Toyota Drive Center national ride and drive tour will take place starting next month and extend through next March. The tour will include 125 events, giving an abundance of interested consumers a chance to check out the new Camry.

For more information on these tour dates and their locations, as well as more information on the 2012 Toyota Camry itself, stop by you local Schaumburg Camry Toyota dealership of Schaumburg Toyota today.

When you think of brands, which ones come to mind? If you were to rank your top brands, from any market, what would they be? The ability of a consumer to recall a brand, the willingness of a consumer to be brand loyal and the satisfaction of a consumer with a brand’s products are undeniably important to companies. In fact, a brand’s image with consumers is arguably the single most important factor to determining a brand’s, and ultimately a company’s, success.

Thus, when Interbrand, a leading brand-consulting agency, releases its annual 100 Best Global Brands report, the whole world listens. This year’s report marked the 12th year for Interbrand’s ranking and the second year that our very own Toyota has been the leading automotive global brand on the list.

But despite Toyota’s first place finish last year, the company continued to work hard to become an even better recognized and more respected global brand. After all, Toyota does not want to be just the first automotive brand on Interbrand’s list, but we want to be first overall on the list.

Toyota’s efforts to improve over the last year did not go unnoticed. While their latest models available for purchase on our Elgin Toyota dealer lot of Schaumburg Toyota speak to the company’s continued improvement in a multitude of categories, Toyota also proved its continued improvement to Interbrand. The company notes Toyota has improved its brand’s value by six percent over the past, somewhat tumultuous, year (due to the tsunami in Japan).

Interbrand’s CEO Jez Frampton says the ability for Toyota, and all companies, to continue to improve and adapt to the modern day consumer and market is key to a company’s long-term success. He said, “Uncertainty is the new status quo, so today’s brands need to be quick and nimble. Consistency, relevance and commitment are imperative if a brand is to keep pace in our rapidly changing world.”

On a local level, at your local Elgin Toyota dealer we are constantly striving to improve the Toyota brand as well. By providing high quality staff, great service and a well-stocked inventory, we aim to do our part in expanding the Toyota brand on a daily basis.

To see what Toyota has to offer you and your family, come visit us at Schaumburg Toyota, the area’s leading Schaumburg and Elgin Toyota dealership. We promise a visit to the Elgin Toyota lot will be a visit worth your time. Stop by today.

Toyota recently announced plans to increase its production of engines at its Alabama Corporate Toyota Motor Manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama. The plant has been a significant part of the Toyota enterprise for a decade now and thanks to this latest announcement by Toyota, the plant will prove to continue to be important to Toyota as a whole, not to mention the importance to the Huntsville, Alabama community.

The news announced the Huntsville, Alabama plant will begin to manufacture four cylinder engines, in addition to the V6 and V8 engines the plant is currently producing. The addition of the four cylinder engine will make the Alabama plant the only Toyota plant in the world producing all three types of engines. More importantly, however, adding the production of the four cylinder engine also means the addition of 240 jobs. This brings the total number of employees at the Alabama plant to 1,000.

Toyota has said the four cylinder engines produced in Alabama will be used to power the latest model year of the brand’s popular Camry, Highlander, RAV4, Sienna and Venza models. Consumers can look for the 2012 model year of these vehicles on local Toyota lots, like that of Elgin Toyota dealer Schaumburg Toyota, in the coming months.

“TMMAL’s (Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama) team members’ focus on quality, safety and outstanding commitment to continuous improvement and team work is second-to-none. Engines now produced in Huntsville will go into eight Toyota models assembled in North America, furthering our commitment to localizing production. And by adding four-cylinder engines to TMMAL’s mix, we will be better prepared to react to changes in market demand,” commented Atsushi Niimi, Toyota Motor Corporation Executive Vice President and Representative Director.

While Alabama is still a long way from our Elgin Toyota dealer lot, it does feel nice to know that the motors pushing around our Schaumburg Corolla vehicles sold here in Illinois, were manufactured by fellow Americans. To do your part in supporting your fellow Americans, visit us at Schaumburg Toyota, your leading Schaumburg Corolla dealer, today.

If you are anything like me, you are constantly running around with a million and five things on your to-do list and no chance in the world of actually getting everything done. However, despite your inability to finish what is currently on your plate, you always say “sure” with a smile whenever someone asks you to do anything else. Well, why we can’t quit our job as Chicago Toyota dealers and help you tackle that mile long list, we may have a product at your local Northbrook Toyota dealer of, Schaumburg Toyota, that will help make your day run just a little bit smoother; we hope!

As Chicago Toyota dealers, we at Schaumburg Toyota are very excited to introduce to our customers Toyota’s latest invention – Entune. Entune can help make your commute pass more quickly and even be enjoyable as well. The in-house entertainment system, if you will, connects your smart phone with your vehicle’s computer system, allowing many of your favorite smart phone apps to work through your vehicle’s system.

For example, your favorite Pandora stations can be played through your vehicle’s speaker system and your in-dash LCD screen allows your to change Pandora stations using in-house controls, just like you would change the radio station. Thus, Entune adds entertainment to your drive in a safe, easy to use manner.

We understand that your favorite Norah Jones Pandora station may help you calm down some on your drive, but we also understand it won’t help you cross off anything on your list. Therefore, Entune has some arguably more helpful features that will save time in various aspects of your day.

No longer will you have to spend half an hour watching the news in order to get the morning’s high for tomorrow for example; Entune allows you to check the forecast while stuck in rush hour traffic. Wondering how much money you made today? You can check your stocks too (and no, that wasn’t meant to be a joke). Lastly but certainly not all inclusive, if you’re just too tired to cook tonight Toyota can help you find and make dinner reservations via OpenTable.

Interested in de-stressing your life with a Toyota vehicle featuring Entune? Visit your local Northbrook Toyota dealership, Schaumburg Toyota, today.

And don’t forget to breath.

The day has finally come and let me tell you, we are beyond excited. As an Elgin Toyota dealer, we cannot tell you how many people have come into the store asking for details about the production model of the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid, or the Prius PHV. Mainly, they wanted to know how does it work, when is it coming, and how much does it cost.

Understandably, they expected our sales staff to be able to tell them the answers to these basic questions, since we are, after all, an Elgin Toyota dealer. Unfortunately, however, we were still waiting on these details from Toyota headquarters. But finally, we have the answers!

How does it work? The Prius PHV runs on both a hybrid synergy drive engine and a lithium ion battery. This means the vehicle can run for up to 15 miles on purely electric energy. From here, the hybrid engine kicks on and the Prius PHV runs just like the Prius 3rd Generation we are used to driving. In fact, the Prius PHV, once using its hybrid engine, earns nearly 50 miles to the gallon. When using the lithium ion battery, this number jumps to an estimated 89 miles to the gallon.

When is it coming? Toyota has promised the Prius PHV to hit the public market by March of next year. Details on the number of Prius PHV to be manufactured in its first year have not been released. However, we are extremely hopeful Toyota will produce enough Prius PHV vehicles to satisfy the market’s needs. We have reason to believe Toyota will, since the need for public charging stations is not as crucial with the Prius PHV, as say they are with the Nissan LEAF. Therefore, consumers from around the country can theoretically drive the Prius PHV.

How much does it cost? Toyota has priced the base model of the Prius PHV at $32,000. A high-end version of the Prius PHV will also be available for $39,525 at your local Toyota dealer. Elgin consumers will also be happy to learn the vehicle is eligible for a $2,500 federal tax credit.

For more information on this exciting new vehicle, come visit us at Schaumburg Toyota, your leading Toyota dealer, Elgin to Chicago, today.

Last month, Toyota Motor Corporation ran a national campaign with one motive – to do “good” in the community. The program, entitled Toyota 100 Cars for Good program, was a multifaceted, multimedia effort to show the importance Toyota vehicles, like those for sale at your local Elgin Toyota dealer, play in assisting organizations whose goal is to do “good” in their own unique and individual ways. The program ran from May through the end of August.

During the 100 days of the Cars for Good program, Toyota featured 500 charities and non-profit organizations on a special Facebook page the company set up specifically for the event. Each day, Toyota featured five charities and non-profit organizations from around the nation who displayed a need for a Toyota vehicle in order to better serve their cause or mission. Such organizations ranged from animal services to organizations meant to help underprivileged children, to feeding the hungry and beyond.

Toyota then asked social media users to vote for their preferred charity from the list of five. Thus, each day along with introducing five new charities on their Facebook page, Toyota also announced the winning organization from the day before. Each organization that won could pick between a brand new Toyota Prius, Tacoma, Tundra, Highlander Hybrid, Sienna or Sienna Mobility.

Two organizations were chosen around our local Elgin Toyota dealer, Schaumburg Toyota. These organizations were Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and Chicago Zoological Society. Such organizations can save a lot of money by beginning to drive a Toyota Prius thanks to the vehicles great fuel efficiency ratings. Other organizations that did not participate in the 100 Cars for Good program should still look into cutting costs by purchasing a Toyota Prius from a local Toyota Prius dealer. Chicago, after all, has some of the highest gasoline in the country and this matter is only likely to get worse.

Schaumburg Toyota is a premiere local Toyota Prius dealer. Chicago residents, as well as those who live and work in the surrounding suburbs should visit the dealership today to learn firsthand how a new Toyota vehicle could “do good” by aiding each individual’s unique endeavor.

If there is any need for proof of the old saying “big things come in small packages,” the Toyota Yaris answers the call with flying colors. And, while the Toyota Yaris has always had a lot to offer drivers despite its little form, the latest version available at your local Roselle Toyota dealer of Schaumburg Toyota, the 2012 Toyota Yaris, takes the phrase to a whole new level.

When the much anticipated 2012 Toyota Yaris arrives on our local Roselle Toyota dealer lot it will be obvious to even the most untrained eye that the Toyota Yaris has spent some significant time in the gym, if you will. While the old form of this vehicle did not seem to categorize the vehicle as “out of shape,” one glance at the Yaris’ new figure and all eyes will instantly be impressed. Toyota has lowered the body of the Yaris by .6 inches and extended its wheelbase by 2.9 inches. Though these changes are subtle, they add up for a big effect.

In addition to the Yaris’ newly sculpted body, Toyota designers have chosen to use new sheetmetal on the body of the Yaris. Finally, the 2012 Toyota Yaris has slightly updated curves, making for an overall new and more modern look to the compact vehicle. One thing’s for sure, the 2012 Toyota Yaris is wholly better looking than its predecessor.

But the perks of the 2012 Toyota Yaris soon to be featured at the Roselle Toyota dealership do not stop there. Toyota has also added creature comforts on the interior of the vehicle to add to the already incredible experience provided for drivers and passengers alike inside the Yaris. Examples of this include everything from power windows and locks to AUX and USB ports.

However, we have saved the best news about the 2012 Toyota Yaris for last. Despite all of the new features included in the 2012 Toyota Yaris, the price of the newest version of this subcompact has barely been increased. The base model of the 2012 Yaris starts at under $15,000.

Come test drive a 2012 Toyota Yaris at the end of next month at your local Roselle Toyota dealer, Schaumburg Toyota.

Last month brought continued talks of an acquisition of some magnitude between two opposing members of the automobile industry: the industry giant of Toyota and the little known newbie of Tesla. While no deal has been confirmed yet, the money on the table is steadily growing. What once was a $60 million deal grew to a $100 million deal and is now at the magnitude of $1 billion dollars. Despite the fact that nothing is set in stone yet, one thing is for sure – Toyota means business.

While Toyota can be credited for popularizing the idea of a hybrid vehicle with its first introduction of the Prius, which joined our Schaumburg Prius lot over ten years ago, the company has yet to introduce its version of the electric vehicle, or EV. The EV is widely believed to be the next generation of “green” vehicles in an overarching goal of ridding ourselves from a dependency on oil. No one argues Toyota does not have the know how to produce an EV, and this argument is furthered by the fact that the company does plan to release a version of the Prius as a plug-in hybrid. Thus, it is only a matter of time before Toyota enters the newly created EV market. It is likely the company will enter full steam ahead and a takeover of Tesla Motors would only give Toyota more “electricity”.

Tesla Motors is a fully electric vehicle manufacturer out of Silicon Valley. The company focuses on producing very high-end luxury electric vehicles. These vehicles, in regards to looks and performance abilities, are on par with heavy-hitters like Ferraris and Lamborghinis. But, they only run on electric charge. Furthermore, these vehicles charge in a fraction of the time current EV vehicles, like the Nissan LEAF and Chevy Volt, can reboot their battery packs. Needless to say, the merger between Toyota’s mass market and Tesla’s advanced technology could mean extensive improvements and changes to vehicles like the 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Chicago and other major urban markets would benefit drastically from the partnership.

To learn more about Toyota’s current line up of green vehicles, visit your local Schaumburg Pruis dealer, Schaumburg Toyota, which also sells the latest 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Chicago proper and suburb residents should stop by today.

In the somewhat near future, in Chicago, Toyota hybrid windows could teach us more about our city than our education system’s text books. New technology has presented the idea that it may be possible to get answers from our vehicle’s windows when we want to know about something we are passing while driving in Chicago. Toyota hybrid vehicles, and all vehicles for that matter, may someday utilize new technology called Window to the World, which is interactive technology that turns a regular window into a “smart” window.

Sound crazy? We agree. In fact, we had to see it to believe it, and we think you might too. Below is a video of the possibilities this technology could bring to an automobile. We suggest you watch it.

Floored? Yeah, we were too. For example, we think pretty highly of the current 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Chicago residents seem too as well, since they are all over the city. But, can you imagine how much cooler these vehicles would be if they employed the Window to the World technology?

Technology is all around us and has infiltrated a huge portion of our society. Cell phones, for example, started out as just wireless telephones. I-pods started out as just wireless music players. But then these devices became capable of much more than just their initial intended use and now, our society almost expects all gadgets to do, well, basically everything. Automobiles are the next products to go through this revolution.

Toyota has always been on the forefront of offering new technology in its automobiles, so it is really no surprise that they are working on technology as revolutionary as the Window to the World. No specific details have been released as to when we can expect this technology to actually hit the market thus far, however.

But even without all of that information, just the thought of possibly one day selling a vehicle with windows like a classroom off of our Schaumburg Toyota lot is quite exciting. And for now, we are happy to be able to offer the 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid to Chicago residents – because it is really pretty impressive too.

As much as we love the Toyota Prius, we will admit that the vehicle has gone largely unchanged since its first debut, back in 2001, and although its design was radical then, it has become a mainstay in our society, like that of the once curious yet now perfectly normal habit of “tweeting on Twitter”.

Additionally, although we are extremely excited about the coming new Toyota Prius models and the change of pace they will bring to the Prius name, the fact of the matter is these vehicles are still months from release. Therefore, as your local Palatine Toyota dealer that brings residents of Palatine used Prius and new Prius vehicles, we understand that you are currently in need of a little spice in your Prius life. No worries, we’ve got you covered.

The 2011 Toyota Prius is now available with the Prius PLUS Performance Package. The Prius PLUS package adds just enough extra performance, style, eco and fun to pluck you out of your same-ol’ Prius slump. To start, you’ll look extra hip driving your Prius PLUS thanks to its new front and rear bumper spoilers, side skirts and rear diffuser. But of course, since these new features are on a Prius, they cannot be solely for aesthetics. Actually, the added pieces make the Prius more aerodynamic, so not only will your Prius look cooler than past Prii on the Palatine used Prius lot, but it will ride more efficiently too.

Also, you’ll notice a difference when driving your Prius vehicle as well, thanks to the fact that the Prius PLUS sits lower to the ground than the normal Prius. Additionally, the sway bar of the Prius PLUS vehicle has been altered in order to give the driver more confidence on tight turns and other sharp maneuvers. Finally, special Prius PLUS logos will be added to both the inside and outside of your Prius, giving the vehicle a new, fresh look.

The Prius PLUS Performance Package costs between $2,999 and $3,699, depending on the model of Prius it is being added to. The package is in limited supply, so hurry to your local Toyota dealer, Schaumburg Toyota, which serves as a Palatine Toyota dealership, today and “trick out your Prius”.
